019-Wulfowl

Wulfowl's new design I had problems executing initially. I couldn't get it looking just right, along with being indecisive about what pose to put it in (instead of wings being outspread, I was going to have it look like it was howling at the viewer). Wulfowl now has a more buffed torso (compared to its previous hunched appearance) and enlarged wings to support it. Its tail was made less 'floofy' and more streamlined. Its legs were changed for consistency, its head slightly changed, and lastly, its belly feathers were darkened for more contrast.

Being known as the Gale Bird Pokemon, one would expect it to have significant power over the wind current. Well, you'd be right in that regard. Move over Talonflame, here comes a special variant of Gale Wings! Whip up a maelstrom with priority Air Slash and Hurricane! Not satisfied? Freeze your target solid with Blizzard! If they still ain't down from all that, finish them off by drowning them with Scald or Brine! Despite having awesome priority in Gale Wings, Wulfowl suffers a bit from an average speed stat. Blame all the food its been stuffing into its gizzard. Having the same Rock-type quadruple weakness as Talonflame doesn't help its longevity either. Still, don't let these negatives put you down. Wulfowl is ready to knock out your foes with the power of the tempest winds!
