068-Ouditty

With Halloween around the corner, I need to rush if I want to get some spooky Fakemon up. And to kick things off, here's the odd Fakemon, Ouditty!

Ever since I saw the Potoo bird, I knew I wanted to make a Fakemon based off it. I didn't want to go the general route for most bird designs (which simply takes a bird's appearance and make it look like a Pokemon (e.g. Pidove)), so I made the body more rounded out like a ball. The crazed look of caffeine the bird sported I also wanted to capture, and I decided to use that as speakers that looked like eyes instead. To further separate it from a bird (apart from its typing), the beak is practically non-existent, simply being a bunch of feathers arranged in that shape.

Don't be fooled by Ouditty's size. It's vocal power can shatter mountains in its wake. Complimented perfectly by its ability, Ouditty is a Pokemon that can perfectly abuse the power of sound without end. Hyper Voice will become exceedingly hard to bear when boosted after each use. Unless your opponent's got a Ghost-type or another resisting type that is. In which case, switch over to Nightingale for major STAB damage. Think that's bad? Wait til Ouditty confuses you as well. Your Pokemon is left hitting itself while being barraged by this crazed bird's voice! And the worse part is, the move gets even louder in repetition. FUS RO DAH!
