Origin of Name: Dragon+Ant= Dragante.
Based on: An ant and the Pyrausta, a species of mythological insect-sized dragons from Cyprus.

It's been awhile since I've done a Fakemon for the Excelo Region. What better way to reawaken the Fakedex than with a redesign of one of my very first Fakemon?

Dragante took a much needed overhaul to its entire design, making it look less generic and plain. I made it more insect-like in appearance, along with adding some draconic aspects to its new design.

Through level up, Dragante learns some general Dragon-type attacks such as Dragon Claw and Outrage. It also learns biting moves like Crunch, and slashing attacks like, well, Slash. With a more physical-oriented movepool, its attack power is certainly a threat to look out for (in Little Cup). This monstrous attack power only gets worst upon evolution. Stay tuned.~
