The ability should be something that negates the opponent from restoring health with a move.
as in 'Present' can't heal them.

You know, at first, I wan't going to do an analysis of this guy, but I just got a good look at its physical movepool, and its surprisingly good.

Delibird @ Delibirdite
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ice Punch
- Sky Attack
- Substitute
- Focus Punch

Even with a Mega Evolution, Delibird's stats are still mediocre, but it can be effective. Huge Power and a Base 85 Attack put Delibird at the higher end of the Attack Scale, and its movepool is just useable enough to function with. Ice Punch is Delibird's main STAB, mauling Dragon, Grass, and Ground-types that it can outspeed. If you're paranoid about being outsped by faster Pokemon, then Ice Shard is also a viable option. Sky Attack is Delibird's only usable Flying-type STABs, as Bounce and Fly also take two turns, while Aerial Ace is pathetically weak. It does a good job at breaking through Pokemon that resist its Ice-type STAB, and works well with a Substitute set up. Focus Punch also works well with Substitute, giving Delibird the valuable turn it needs to be able to charge the attacking, and once done so, Focus Punch wrecks anything in Mega Delibird's path.

Mega Delibird's biggests enemies are Stealth Rock, Aegislash, and faster Pokemon. Stealth Rock chips away Delibird's health by 50%, making Rapid Spin support a must, making Starmie and Excadrull good partners for this, but they have the bad habit of sharing weaknesses with Delibrid, Aegislash can be dealt with by the likes of Garchomp and Heatran. Finally, anything faster than Base 105 can beat Delibird due to its nonexistent defenses, so Choice Scarf users, such as Garchomp once again, can deal with this. Delibird is difficult to support, but it pays off when it can sweep.

I can see this one working nicely with priorty Ice Shard and Aerial Ace.
