Here's a newcomer! Possout's final stage, the King of the Road, Ruggrizzly!
This final stage was set in stone in my head, but like Badgroad I was stumped for the longest time on how to execute it. That sums it up, really. Not gonna repeat it again. Ruggrizzly is the Excelo Region's equivalent to the Kanto Region's Snorlax. These massive ursine Pokemon block key routes the player needs to pass in order to proceed with their journey. Of course, waking them up is not a safe task, no sir! I hope that you're beary pre-beared for this unbearable bear of a battle! /obligatory hiimdaisy reference
Ruggrizzly is the definition of tank. Massive attack power, great defensive prowess, and a powerful hidden ability in Super Armor make this bear... well, unbearable. It excels in dishing out heavy physical damage with moves like Crush Claw and Double-Edge while simultaneously having a good recovery move in Slack Off. The only thing holding this monster back is its abysmal speed. It can take hits, but it ain't gonna win any races outside of Trick Room! Mold Breaker users will also succeed in cracking Ruggrizzly's defenses should they opt for Super Armor as an ability. Otherwise, this bear will take all you throw at it with its beastly bulk! Does your team have the bear necessities to ward it off?!

Alternate ability idea: "Play Dead"
(This will be hard to explain so bear with me)
If a foe's non-lethal attack against Ruggrizzly would have KO'd it had the attack been a critical hit, the game lies to the opponent saying a critical hit was scored and Ruggrizzly was KO'd. However, Ruggrizzly is still alive, having taken whatever damage the attack actually did and can come back later. Works only once per battle.
