Origin of Name: Basura+Caesar+Shark= Bakaesark.
Based on: A basking shark and a garbage can.

The return of one of my all-time favorite designs, here's the bane of every Garbodor in existence, Bakaesark!

Appearance-wise, Bakaesark's design has remained the same for the most part. I even reused the same pose here from its previous artwork. Minor things like enlarged fins and new fin patterns were added, as well as a second pair of pectoral fins. Ah, and I removed the brown stones covering the algae on its body as it looked too messy for me. Overall, Bakaesark's one of my older fakes that's aged well enough to not have too many dramatic changes to its design.

Competitively speaking, Bakaesark's both an offensive and defensive juggernaut. Its massive size only being dwarfed by the slightly larger Wailord is enough to send most foes into a panic. And why shouldn't they? Upon being sent out, Bakaesark devours ALL health-related items, utterly shutting down any form of recovery for your opponent. One advantage over its fellow leviathan Wailord is its secondary Steel-typing. Steel's one of the greatest defensive types in the metagame. Slap that onto a basking shark with a wall of HP and you're practically going to be sponging hits left and right. As far as attacks go, simply copy and paste most of Wailord's blubbery movepool and you've got what Bakaesark can do and more. Wailord can learn Heavy Slam, right? Well, guess who has STAB on the move as well? Bingo. Bakaesark can outright flatten ya should it decide to do so. Oh, but don't worry. Bakaesark's a tidy Pokemon, and won't leave your fainted corpse unattended. It'll take out the trash along with you in it. Ain't that nice?
