Entry for the Design Hiraki Corale Contest on the SB forums. Basically... I had to design Hiraki Corale, a Hylotl adventurer. Pretty straightforward. Wanted to incorporate the Hylotl's known eastern culture in her design, while still making her look deadly as well as beautiful. Here's the description we were given to work with:

About Hiraki: Hiraki Corale travels the universe 'adventuring'. Anyone else would call it 'causing trouble'. She's tactless, oblivious, and prone to getting into inescapable danger, then escaping anyway. She thinks nothing of dropkicking a Glitch out a window, or unleashing a killer robot on an airship, because life's an adventure, right? Despite all this, her heart's in the right place, even if her adventuring has a tendency to leave behind a bodycount. Hiraki crops up regularly throughout the game, usually having already caused some kind of calamity.
